Wilbert L.F. Adair

Wilbert Lee Franklin Adair of Cuba, Missouri was born on March 14, 1936, in Berryman, Missouri to Thomas Franklin and Eva (Bridgeman) Adair. He left this life on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Cuba Manor at the age of 88.

Wilbert was united in marriage to Lula V. (Holt) Harrison on September 17, 1970, in Crawford County, Missouri.

Wilbert worked at McGinnis Wood Products and later for Townsend Tree Service. He was baptized on September 16, 2001 and attended the Evangelical Holiness Church in Cuba for several years, where he loved to worship, play his guitar and sing. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing his guitar, watching wrestling and old western’s.

Wilbert is preceded in death by his parents Thomas Franklin and Eva (Bridgeman) Adair; one sister Charlotte and husband Russell Bouse; one brother Glen Adair; two brothers-in-law Fred Bouse and Larry Bouse.

Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his sons Michael Thomas Lemuel Adair of Louisiana, Ryan and wife Tasha Sarabia of Marshfield, Missouri; three grandchildren Karter, Justis and Samuel Sarabia; two sisters Wilma Bouse and Alberta Bouse both of Cuba; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Don Mitchell, officiating.

 Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
