Virginia L. Sansoucie

August 14, 1948 — February 12, 2017

Virginia Louise Sansoucie of Cuba, Missouri was born Saturday, August 15, 1948 at Huntington, West Virginia to the union of Gilman and Willa Mae Sayre and left from this life surrounded by family on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at St. Claire Hospital, Fenton, Missouri at the age of 68 years. Virginia was united in marriage to Howard Sansoucie at Ennis, Texas on April 27, 1985 and they are the proud parents of Roger, Michael, James and Virginia. Virginia spent her life taking care of her mom, her brother David, her family and her home. She loved to decorate the house and spent hours and hours cleaning. She recently had been attending the Assembly of God Church in St. James, Missouri. Virginia loved to go shopping and out to eat. She watched CNN every day and she never missed an episode of Law and Order SUV. To know Virginia was to know that she would drink coffee all day long. What Virginia loved most in life was her Lord, her family and especially her grandchildren. Virginia was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many. She will be forever remembered and truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Virginia is preceded in death by her father Gilman Sayre, mother Willa Mae Dennison, two brothers Acie Earl Sayre and David M. Sayre and host of other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband Howard Sansoucie of the home, four children Roger and wife Debbie Adkins of Cleveland, Ohio, Michael Ferguson of Cuba, James and wife Gena Ferguson of Cuba and Virginia Sansoucie of Cuba, six grandchildren Cain Adkins, Kristen Ferguson, Bethany Ferguson, Seth Sansoucie, Hayley Sansoucie and Jayden DeLong, two great grandchildren Paisley Mabe and Andrew Truman, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, in-laws and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba. Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba. Interment and prayers will follow at the Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba. In lieu of flowers donations would be greatly appreciated for the family. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving Virginia's family.
