Trude Cason

Trude Cason of Cuba, Missouri was born on Monday, September 13, 1943 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of John and Gertrude (nee: Lieser) Winkler and left from this life on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Trude was united in marriage to Robert Cason on December 29, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union four children were born Rob, Becky, Keith and Mike. Trude spent her life dedicated to taking care of her family. She spent hours listening to the radio (one was usually on in every room of the house) and could dance to any song playing, especially if it was Chuck Berry. Trude was the horse shoe champion and was always taking pictures with her camera or others. She was always "Happy Go Lucky" and loved life to the fullest but what she always enjoyed was having all the family together. Trude and Bob were members of the Amazing Grace Community Church. Trude was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Trude is preceded in death by her parents John and Gertrude Winkler, one brother Jack Winkler, in laws Leah and Alexander Cason and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are loving husband of nearly 50 years Bob Cason of the home, four children Rob and wife Stephanie Cason of St. Louis, Becky and husband Keith Doyle of Cuba, Keith and wife Karen Cason of St. Louis and Mike and wife Jen Cason of St. Louis, six grandchildren Dustin and Kacey Doyle, Leah, Jack, Ava and Chase Cason, four sisters Judy and husband Ben Miriani of High Hill, Missouri, Jeanne and husband Dave Nicholson of Benton, Illinois, Mary Kay and husband Henry Taber of St. Louis, Missouri and Opie and husband George McAllister of Cuba, sister-in-law Jean and husband Ted Rigden, brothers-in-law Larry and wife Paula Cason, Joe and wife Kelly Cason and Bill Cason all of Cuba, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 5:00 till 8:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Mace officiating. Special music will be "I'll Fly Away", "In My Daughters Eyes" and "I Hope You Dance". Honored to be serving as pall bearers are Rob Cason, Keith Cason, Mike Cason, Dustin Doyle, Jason McAllister and George McAllister. Interment and prayers will follow at the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children Hospital in Trude's memory. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Cason family. .
