Tim Olmsted, 68, formerly of Rochester, passed away, Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Cuba Village in Cuba, Missouri. 

Tim had suffered from early onset Alzheimer's disease for many years. He moved from Rochester in 2024. 

He retired as an adjunct instructor from Lincoln Land Community College. 

Tim enjoyed golf, astronomy & doing magic tricks. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Willa May (Bonar) Olmsted.

Tim is survived by his wife, Brenda; two daughters, Abby (Tyler) & Lizz (Dan), a granddaughter, Charlotte; a brother, Chuck Olmsted of Iowa; sister-in-law, Dee (Paul) Figge of Auburn

A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
