Thomas Walter Trudo of Cuba, Missouri was born May 30, 1943 at Flat River, Missouri to the union of Charles and Mary Martha (nee: Degonia) Trudo and left from this life on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 70. Tom proudly served his country in the United States Navy from November 1961 till November 1962 and then served in the Naval Reserves until December 1967. Tom was an over the road truck driver for forty seven years and drove over three million miles. When he wasn't on the road he enjoyed playing the guitar, drawing, riding motorcycles and meeting others. He was also a ham radio operator and liked electronics. Tom was a loving son, father, grandfather and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Tom is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mary Trudo and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his three children Sonsiarae Trudo and husband Kenneth Fleming of Cuba, Thomas W. and wife Katie Trudo, II of Monroe, Louisiana, Amanda Trudoux of Midway, California and like a son Charles and wife Tina Hamblin of Bourbon, grandchildren Scarlette and Levi Fleming of Cuba, special extended grandchildren Amber and Nicholas Gargus and many friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 1:00 till 5:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba with Mike Delashmit officiating. In keeping with Thomas's wishes he will be cremated following the visitation and funeral. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Trudo family.
