Thomas Michael 'Tom' Conduitt

Thomas Michael "Tom" Conduitt of Cuba, Missouri was born Sunday, February 23, 1941 at Cuba, Missouri to the union of Roy F. and Lillian R. (Nee: Bousser) Conduitt. Tom went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at his home in Cuba, at the age of 77 years. Tom honorably served in the United States Air Force from 6 August 1959 till 13 February 1963. He was united in marriage to Donna Counts on August 12, 1967 at Cuba, Missouri and to this union two daughters were born; Dawn and Karen. Tom worked as a shipping clerk for Echo Supply for twenty-seven years. After Echo Supply closed, Tom took some time off before going to work for MEPCO. He retired in 2008 after sixteen years of dedicated service from MEPCO. Tom was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. He attended grade school at Holy Cross School and he graduated from Cuba High School. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, St. Louis Blues Hockey and the NCAA Basketball. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing cards. When sports weren't on TV, Tom watched MASH and Hill Street Blues. What he truly loved most in life was spending time with his family and friends. Tom was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, great uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend of many. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Lillian Conduitt, one brother Richard and wife Barbara Conduitt, one sister Nancy Conduitt and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife of fifty one years Donna Conduitt of Cuba, two daughters; Dawn and husband Robert Schaumburg of Imperial, Missouri and Karen Conduitt of Washington, Missouri, one brother Larry and wife Faye Conduitt of Cuba, three sisters-in-law; Sharon and husband Jim Mosley of Tallahassee, Florida, Janice and husband Keith Howdeshell of Springfield, Missouri and Tammy and husband Garry Lukefahr of St. James, one brother-in-law Kent and wife Helen Counts of Steelville, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousin and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 9:00 till 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, 415 W School Street, Cuba. Celebration of Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Rich Boever and Father James Finder as co-celebrants. Special music will be "You Are Mine", "Peace Prayer", "Bless Be The Lord", "Here I Am Lord" and "How Great Thou Art". Interment and prayers will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Cuba. Honored to serve as pall bearers are Tim Conduitt, Keith Howdeshell, Brad Windle, Dan Dulany, Ryan Missey and Don Howdeshell and honorary pall bearers are Kent Counts, Joe Hughes and Larry Shearrer. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Crawford County Relay for Life or Holy Cross School in Tom's memory. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving Tom's family.
