Taylor Theodore 'Tj' Jones

Taylor "TJ" Theodore Jones of Steelville, Missouri was born March 18, 1962 to the union of Herman Howard and Minerva Irene (Nee: Simington) Jones and left from this life on Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Golden Living Center, St. James, Missouri at the age of 51 years. Taylor was united in marriage to Christine Stearns on August 20, 1988 and to this union Victoria and Samuel was born. Taylor worked as a roofer before working in the factory making John Deere tractor weights. He worked at the foundry in Waupaca, Wisconsin before moving to Missouri in 1997. In 2005 Taylor moved his family to Steelville. He enjoyed shooting skeet, playing pool and cards; watching the U.F.C on TV and he had been a softball coach. What he was most passionate about being a husband, dad and grandpa and taking care of his family. Taylor was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, son-in-law, cousin, nephew and friend of many. Taylor is preceded in death by his parents Herman and Minerva Irene Jones, one brother Kenneth Howard Jones and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy is his loving wife Christine Jones of the home, daughter Victoria Jones of Rolla, son Samuel Jones of the home, grandson Ghage Davin Taylor Ritchhart of Rolla, sister Judy Stumborg of St. Clair, Missouri, father-in-law and mother-in-law Ronald and Barbara Stearns of Waupaca, Wisconsin, sisters-in-law Tereasa and husband Darryl Sparrow of Waupaca, Wisconsin and Becky and husband Ed Weinmann of Waupaca, Wisconsin, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial visitation will be 5:00 till 6:00 PM Friday, August 2, 2013 at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Memorial service will be 6:00 PM Friday, August 2, 2013 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is Pastor Henry Copling officiating. Special music will be "Old Rugged Cross and "I'll Fly Away" by Juanita Nichols and "Down to the River to Pray" and "O Death". The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Jones family.
