Tamara J. "Tammy" Hendrix of St. James, Missouri, was born on August 28, 1961, in Sullivan, Missouri. She unexpectedly passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 64.

Tammy married Paul Hendrix on August 21, 2016, in Steelville, Missouri. Throughout her life, Tammy dedicated herself to her work and passions. She was employed by the Brown Shoe Company until its closure, after which she pursued studies and a career as a respiratory therapist. She later concluded her professional journey at Paramount.

Tammy cherished the simple joys of life, including nature walks, spending time by the river, collecting frogs, and lovingly caring for her three dogs: Little Bit, Bella, and Jet. Most importantly, she treasured time spent with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Sally (Pitts) Hoyer; her daughter, Dana Lenderman; and her sister, Cynthia Mouser.

Tammy’s memory will be lovingly held by her husband, Paul Hendrix of St. James; her three children, Bryn Lenderman of St. James, Monica Hendrix of St. Louis, and Paula Hendrix of Cuba; her grandchildren, Haley Whitman, Noah Lenderman, Summer Swyers, Bella Lenderman, Abel Lenderman, Liam Stahl, Lincoln Stahl, and Alijah Hutcheson; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

In accordance with her wishes, Tammy will be cremated, with inurnment to take place at Kinder Cemetery in Cuba, Missouri.
