Sylvia Caroline White of Cuba, Missouri was born October 2, 1938 at Cuba, Missouri to the union of James and Lillian (Nee: Hartung) Cameron and went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at her home in Cuba, Missouri at the age of 76 years. Sylvia was united in marriage to Ronald E. "Frank" White on November 10, 1956 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cuba and to this union three children were born James, Paul and Sheila. Sylvia retired as a shift supervisor from the Meramec Group in Sullivan, Missouri. Sylvia was a devout member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church and volunteered many hours at the church helping with different programs and church dinners. Sylvia also volunteered at the Food Pantry and the Cuba Senior Center. Sylvia enjoyed playing bingo, cards, computer games, Facebook and going to the boat. What Sylvia loved most in this life was spending time with her family, church family and friends. Sylvia was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, sister-in-law, cousin and friend to everyone she met. Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents James and Lillian Cameron, one brother Chester Cameron, three sisters Rachael Kirby, Juanita and husband Lynn Gray and Wanda May Woodruff, brothers-in-law Tom, Donald, Leon and wife Barbara, Bob and Vernon White and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her husband Frank White of the home, three children James White of Springfield, Missouri, Paul White of Springfield, Missouri and Sheila Bogue of Cuba, five grandchildren Andy White of Springfield, Missouri, Chasity White of Sedalia, Missouri, Michael Paul White of California, Nathan Bogue of Arkansas and Justin Bogue of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, six great grandchildren, one brother Earnest and wife Edie Cameron of Glendale, Arizona, sisters-in-law Dixie Northington of Winsor, Missouri, Sharon White of Cuba and Lucy White of Springfield, Missouri, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, April 3, 2015 from 5:00 till 8:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba, Missouri and Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 10:00 till 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 730 Fleenor Road, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 730 Fleenor Road, Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Joe Ed Pederson officiating. In keeping with Sylvia's wishes she will be cremated follow the funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sylvia's memory. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving Sylvia's family.
