Stephen James "Poncho" "Bubba" Wood Jr.

Stephen James "Poncho" "Bubba" Wood Jr. of Cuba, Missouri was born Thursday, June 2, 1994 in Phoenix, Arizona to the union of Stephen Sr. and BillieJo (Nee: Speckhals) Wood. He answered the Lord's call on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Zanesville, Ohio at the age of 26 years.

Although his life was cut short, Stephen's memory will remain vibrant in the lives and hearts of many.

Stephen was a traveler and worked for many people over the years. Stephen loved being a father, going to the river, spending time with friends and most importantly making those he loved laugh, with a colorful story or tell-all facial expression.

Stephen was a loving son, brother, father, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Stephen was preceded in death by his grandfather Earl Speckhals.

Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his parents Stephen and wife Patricia Wood Sr. of Cuba, Missouri; BillieJo Wood of Phoenix, Arizona; one son Grayson Wood of Zanesville, Ohio; one grandmother Sheran Greene of Kalispell, Montana; one brother Thomas Wood of Lake of Ozarks, Missouri; one sister Alyssa Wood of Shickshinny, Pennsylvania; one half-sister Amanda Loomis of Cottonwood, Arizona; step-brothers and step-sister Brett Snodgrass of Sullivan, Missouri, Brock, Brendan and Bethany Snodgrass all of Cuba, Missouri; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 10:00 a.m. at Delhi Baptist Church 3170 Hwy. UU Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Joe Bruno, officiating.
