Sheila Renee Dierker, née DePriest, was born on March 21, 1967, in Creve Coeur, Missouri. She passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in Town & Country, Missouri at the age of 59.
Sheila loved playing cards, especially rummy, where her undeniable skill was hard to beat. She loved listening to classic country and if you were near her, you often heard it playing, especially in the car. With an entrepreneurial spirit, Sheila thrived at DIY projects and found great purpose in flipping houses. Her projects stood as symbols of her hard work, vision, and the pride she took in shaping living spaces for herself and others.
Those who are left to treasure her memory are her spiritual husband, Greg Echols. son, Jesse Dabbs. Grandchildren: Elliott Deardeuff, Jesse Dabbs IV, and Anakin Dabbs. Her siblings—Donna DePriest, Selena DePriest-McDowell, Tommy DePriest, and Robert DePriest. Along with her extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Sheila is preceded in death by her father, Earl DePriest; her mother, Sharon Donna Lucille (Robinson) Eads; her son, Dale Langford; and brothers Johnny Knoll and Ted DePriest.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Sheila’s life. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory, 904 W. Washington St., Cuba, MO 65453. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Beers, officiating. Sheila’s wishes for cremation will be honored and followed after the funeral service.
