Sarah Elizabeth (Vaughan) Arthur, 52, of Cuba, passed away suddenly, on Friday, August 21, 2026, at her home. 

On December 11, 1973, Sarah was born to the union of George Vaughan & Linda Sue (Porter) in St. Louis, Missouri. 

Sarah was known to always be the life of the party, better yet she was the party. Her bubbly and infectious personality are what drew people to Sarah. She enjoyed having fun in life and not sweating the small stuff. Sarah found the beauty in everything around her; with the help of her vivid imagination. She definitely marched to the beat of her own drum and had the tendency to be put lovingly "stubborn" and "hardheaded" at times. Sarah had a love for dancing that stemmed from childhood when her and her sister, Donna, would recreate the dances from "Dirty Dancing". She enjoyed her down time, collecting her thoughts and doing some of her best thinking while enjoying coloring, cooking and collecting rare "misprinted" & "minted" monies. Most of all, Sarah loved her family and friends, especially her granddaughters, she was truly a one-of-a-kind person, and she will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Vaughan & Linda Sue Owen. 

Sarah is survived by her significant other, Arthur Curtis of Cuba; children, Cato Grey of Bonne Terre, Katrina Helderle of St. Charles & Samantha Vaughan of Rolla; siblings, Donna Bunch of Union, Marshall Vaughan of Wright City & Robert Vaughan of Montgomery City; grandchildren, Anastasia Robertson & Amara Robertson; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends. 

There are no formal services planned at this time following her cremation.
