Ruby Ellen Williams of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Garrett C. and Edna (Ragan) Dickens on July 16, 1930 in Dixon, Missouri and left from this life on Friday, July 17, 2015 at her home at the age of 85. Ruby was united in marriage to Floyd J. Williams on September 16, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union two children were born Lisa and Lloyd. Ruby was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Cuba. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, traveling, rock work, crocheting, sewing and spoiling her grandchildren. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; husband Floyd J. Williams; two brothers Louie Russell Dickens and Carl Dickens; one sister Helen Brown; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Cecil Brown, Edwin Kitchen, Sharon Dickens, Shirley Dickens, Grace Williams and Charles Spurgeon. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her two children Lisa and husband Don Isbell of Cuba, Missouri, Lloyd and wife Coby Williams of Barnhart, Missouri; seven grandchildren Kelsey, Jeremy, Jason (Caitlin), Colin and Corey Williams, Ben (Rita) Lee, Jacob (Morgan) Isbell; five great-grandchildren Dylan and Blake Lee, Zachery, Brianna and Sophie Williams; three sisters Ruth Ann Dickens, Lucille and husband Gary Campbell, Mabel Kitchen; three brothers Paul and wife Geraldine Dickens, James Dickens, Leon and wife Donna Dickens all of Cuba, Missouri; one brother-in-law Ernest Junior Williams of Meadview City, Arizona; one sister-in-law Grace Spurgeon of Bland, Missouri; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Cuba 606 W. Myrtle St. Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Bob Knight and Pastor Tim Burton, officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the First Baptist Church of Cuba. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Williams family.
