Roy Jay Schroeder of Cuba, Missouri was born Friday, November 7, 1952 at Glendale, California to the union of Charles A. and Donna Kenyon Schroeder and left from this life on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at his home in Cuba at the age of 64 years. Roy was united in marriage to Sissy Skaggs on May 18, 1992 at Bentonville, Arkansas. Roy was the father of seven children; Sheenah, Sherry, Jeremy, Danny, Nathan, Lara and Curtis. Roy enjoyed building motorcycles, riding his Harley and playing the guitar. You could find him on the front porch of his house playing his guitar, singing and watching the world go by. Roy was a very kind-hearted person and would help anyone in need. He would spend hours on the phone listening to a friend in need. He was very musically talented and could play any instrument you put in his hands. His artistic skills helped him be a tattoo artist and a painter. He collected old coins and movies. Roy was a homebody except for their rides on the Harley. Every morning for the last twenty-five plus years, Roy went to town to get breakfast, a diet coke and flowers for Sissy. What Roy truly loved and treasured most in life was spending time with Sissy, his family and friends.
