Ronald T. Wilson

Ronald T. Wilson of Salem, Missouri was born Friday, February 5, 1937 at Duncan, Arizona to the union of Glen and Zelda Wilson and left from this life on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Seville Nursing Home, Salem, Missouri at the age of 81 years. Ron was united in marriage to Mary A. McCarter Raulston in 1967 at Vinita, Oklahoma and they are the proud parents of Greg. Ron was a heavy equipment operator for many years before he became a farmer in rural Dent County. Ron always looked forward to this time of year, hay season. He believed in working from sun up to sun set. In his spare time and for the last couple of years, Ron spent hours watching TV especially western movies, sports of all kinds and St. Louis Cardinals Baseball. Ron was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandpa, uncle, great uncle, step father, step grandfather, step great grandfather, brother-in-law and friend of many. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents Glen and Zelda Wilson, brothers; Donald Wilson and Norman Wilson, sister Barbara Wilson, daughter-in-law Carol Raulston, brothers-in-law Ish McCarter, Jack and wife Irene McCarter and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife Mary A. Wilson of the home, one son Greg and wife Kim Wilson of Salem, two grandsons Garrett and wife Hanah Wilson of Rolla and Hayden Wilson of Salem, step-son Steve Raulston and friend Carol Gibbs of Salem, step grandson Mike and wife Sheila Raulston of St. Peters, step granddaughter Baylee Bilyeu of Salem, brother-in-law Jean and wife Donna McCarter of Collins, Missouri, sister-in-law Jewel McCarter of Salem, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, step great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, June 8, 2018 from 5:00 till 8:00 p.m. at the Wilson Mortuary, 1000 W. Hwy 32, Salem. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Wilson Mortuary, Salem with Lesa M. Mizell officiating. Special recorded music will be "Please Remember Me", "Go Rest High on That Mountain" and "I Believe". Honored to serve as pall bearers are Garrett Wilson, Hayden Wilson, Danny Drury, Danny Cramer, Wade Cook and Matt Berry. Honorary pall bearers are Boyd Berry, Jerry Cramer, Kevin Drury, Bud Drury and Keith Drury. Interment and prayers will follow at the Green Forest Cemetery.
