Robert E. "Rob" Klem, of Cuba, Missouri, was born on April 30, 1959, in East St. Louis, Illinois. He passed away peacefully at his home on June 23, 2026, at the age of 67.

Rob dedicated his career to Southwest Oil Field Electric in West Frankfort, Illinois, until a work-related accident led to his early retirement. He later settled in Cuba, Missouri, with his beloved wife, Denise. Known for his strong-willed nature, Rob enjoyed hunting, working on cars in his younger years, and spending time outdoors whether it was hunting or cutting grass. Above all, he cherished moments with his family, especially watching his grandchildren participate in sports.

Preceded in death by his parents, Robert Henry and LaVerne Catherine (Logan) Klem. 

Rob leaves behind his devoted wife, Denise Klem; his children Tiffany (Cody) Ware and T.J. (Taylor) Klem of Cuba, and Christy Starks of New Baden, Illinois; seven cherished grandchildren, Wyatt, Carter, Emoree, Jase, Laney, Brandon, and Nathan; along with three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Judy Auer, Lou Klem, Carol Casperson, and Jeff Klem, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In accordance with his wishes, Rob will be cremated. There will be a gathering for family and friends to celebrate Rob's life on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 1-3 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory.
