Robert F. 'Bob' Dunham Jr.

Robert F. "Bob" Dunham, Jr. of St. James, Missouri was born September 3, 1936 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Robert F., Sr. and Helen (Nee: Ladreiter) Dunham and left from this life surrounded by family on Saturday, May 09, 2015 at his home in St. James, Missouri at the age of 78years. Bob proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1961. Bob was united in marriage to Neva Leona Britton on March 21, 1970 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Cuba and to this union one son was born Bobby. Bob owned and operated RF Dunham Truck Line for forty five years. He drove a million miles during his career. When Bob was not on the road he was home taking care of the farm and cows. Bob and Bobby spent many hours restoring old truck and cars. What Bob enjoyed most in life was being home, off the road, and spending time with family and friends. Bob was a loving son, husband, father, uncle, great uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend of many. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Helen Dunham, Sr., wife Leona Dunham, brothers-in-law Earnest and wife Georgia Britton, Jack and wife Anna Mae Britton and John Britton, sisters-in-law Daisy and husband Austin Volner, Mollie and husband Wade Watson and Lydia Britton and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy is his loving son Bobby Dunham of the home, brother-in-law James and wife Edwina Britton of Cuba, sister-in-law Cecilia Britton of Cuba, caregiver and special niece Bonnie Watson of Salem, special cousin Mary Lankford of Perryville, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 5:00 till 8:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba. Special music will be "Go Rest High on that Mountain". "When I Get Where I'm Going" and "Long Black Train". Interment, prayers and military honors will follow at the Skaggs Cemetery, Huzzah, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Skaggs Cemetery in Bob's memory. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Dunham family.
