Robert Allan 'Bob' Klatt

Robert Allan "Bob" Klatt of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of August and Lucille (Zesch) Klatt on November 2, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life suddenly on Friday, August 2, 2013 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 70. Bob retired after 35 years of dedicated service to the City of St. Louis as an Engineer Technician Supervisor and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bourbon. He enjoyed living at Indian Hills Lake, fishing, hunting, raising Beagle dogs and spending time with his family and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his parents August and Lucille (Zesch) Klatt. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his wife Lynda (Robinson) Klatt of Cuba, Missouri; daughter Kimberly Klatt and husband James Schulte of Potsdam, New York; step-son Scott O'Brien of Florissant, Missouri; two adorable grandchildren Alexander Owen and Ava Bryn Schulte; sister Lynda and husband Don Weingart of Cuba, Missouri; mother-in-law Ruby Robinson of Florissant, Missouri; sister-in-law Becky Burgess of Florissant, Missouri; brother-in-law David and wife Pam Robinson of Memphis, Tennessee; nephews and nieces Scott and wife Marge Weingart of St. Louis, Missouri, Kristine and husband Larry Bridges of House Springs, Missouri, Susan Hampel of St. Louis, Missouri, Jennifer and husband Chris Mock of Memphis, Tennessee, Kori Kach and fiance Neal of Florissant, Missouri. Melanie Robinson of Memphis, Tennessee, Matthew Kach of Florissant, Missouri; great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church 355 Hickory St. Bourbon, Missouri with Pastor Ted Hurley, officiating. Interment will follow at Bourbon Cemetery Bourbon, Missouri. If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society. or Missouri Dept. of Conservation. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Klatt family.
