Richard K. Kimbrel, lovingly known as Rick, of Cuba, Missouri was born on December 23, 1961, in St. Louis, Missouri. He peacefully departed this life surrounded by his family on December 27, 2025, at the age of 64.
Rick dedicated many years to his profession as a concrete finisher in St. Louis. He was a passionate St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, and his home while he lived in St. Louis was a testament to his love for the game, filled with an impressive collection of baseball memorabilia. He cherished spending his time engaging in activities such as playing softball and building/playing various board games.
Rick is preceded in death by his parents, Kent C. Kimbrel and Delores A. (Green) Sheehan; his sister, Patricia Kimbrel; and his brother-in-law, Bill Harmon.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories through his three children: Tosha Kimbrel of Farmington, Rickey Kimbrel of Pacific, and Eric La-Bee of Arnold. He is also survived by his three sisters: Debra Harmon of Cuba, Sharon (Reggie) Gillespie of Randolph, MS, and Barbara (Darrell) Hinch of Pevely; as well as his caregiver, Christy (Turk) Harmon of Cuba, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In keeping with his wishes, Rick will be cremated. A celebration of his life is planned for the spring of 2026, where all who knew and loved him can gather to honor his memory.
