Renae Cassidy

Renae Cassidy of Steelville, Missouri was born to the union of Roy and Alice (Nee: Carroll) Brewer on Tuesday, August 14, 1934 in Crawford County, Missouri. She left from this life suddenly on Friday, February 16, 2018 at her home in Steelville at the age of 83 years. Renae owned and operated City Limits Package Liquor in Steelville for over 27 years. Her home, yard and business were always kept neat and tidy. Renae was a very generous, kind and caring person. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Renae is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Alice Brewer; son Phillip Lee Koester; two sisters Margaret Senecal and Faye Parnell; two brothers Pinckney Andrew Brewer and Donald Brewer and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her four children Jeanne Reany of Belleville, Illinois, Mark Koester of Wilmington, Delaware, Alan Koester of Ballwin, Missouri, Vicki and husband Mark Cason of Cuba, Missouri; five grandchildren Stefanie Werner, Nathan Claus, Christopher Koester, Tyler Cason and Olivia Cason; two sisters Janet Bialock and Jean Merritt both of Cuba, Missouri; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, customers and many friends. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba with Lesa Mizell, officiating. Inurnment and prayers will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving Renae's family.
