Reba Ann Brinkley

Reba Ann Brinkley of Jerome, Missouri was born Sunday, November 8, 1942 in Shirley, Arkansas to the union of Tom and Alma (Nee: Bradford) Hinkle. She went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at her home in Jerome at the age of 75 years. Reba was united in marriage to Kenny Joe Brinkley on December 7, 1960 in Farmington, Iowa. They were the proud parents of Kim, Katy and Keith. Reba worked at Brown Shoe Company, J.C. Penney and as a Phelps County election judge in Jerome. However, she was content to take care of her home and her family. She was a devout member of the Apostolic Faith Church of Jerome for fifty-six years. Reba loved being outdoors. She planted a garden each spring and the flowers in her yard were always beautiful. She spent hours sewing, reading and tending to her plants. What Reba loved most was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Reba was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, aunt, and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents Tom and Alma Hinkle, husband Kenny Joe Brinkley, son-in-law Keith Peterman, two sisters Nina Coffee and infant Jessie Maxine Hinkle, one brother Carl Hinkle, sister-in-law Marjie Ann Brinkley and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving children; Kim and husband Jeff Feeler of Rolla, Katy Peterman of Jerome and Keith Brinkley of Duke, daughter-in-law Tresa Brinkley of Duke, seven amazing grandchildren; Angie Feeler of St. James, Zach Feeler of Rolla, Derek and wife Ginger Peterman of St. James, Kevin Peterman of Jerome, Kaleb and wife Brittney Canoy of Wardell, Joey Brinkley and Olivia Brinkley of Duke, four brothers; Charlie and wife Betty Hinkle, Allen and wife Pam Hinkle, Phillip and wife Tammy Hinkle all of Arkansas and Tommy and wife Cyndi Hinkle of Texas, two sisters; Judy and husband Johnny Gibson of Arkansas and Debra Hinkle of Texas, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, May 18, 2018 at the Apostolic Faith Church, 23030 State Route D, Jerome from 5:00 till 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Apostolic Faith Church with Pastor Don Arthur officiating. Special music will be by Pastor Chris Dew and Pastor Don Arthur. Interment and prayers will follow at the Harrison Pillman Cemetery, Arlington, Missouri. Honored to serve as pall bearers are Zach Feeler, Derek Peterman, Kaleb Canoy, Kevin Peterman, Joey Brinkley and Daniel Hinkle. Honorary pall bearers are Angie Feeler, Olivia Brinkley, Ginger Peterman and Brittney Canoy. Memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Faith Church, 23030 State Route D, Jerome, Missouri 65529 in Reba's memory. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Brinkley family.
