Raymond Keith Kinder

Raymond Keith Kinder of St. James, Missouri was born September 24, 1963 at Carrollton, Missouri to the union of Joe Raymond and Hazel (Nee: Greer) Kinder and left from this life on Monday, December 28, 2015 at St. James, Missouri at the age of 52 years. Raymond was united in marriage to Kimberly French on October 13, 1984 at Carrollton, Missouri and to this union two sons were born Ryan Matthew and Aaron Mitchell. Raymond graduated from the Carrollton High School in 1982 and graduated from the Vo Tech School in Marshall, Missouri in 1983. Raymond worked in Sullivan at CEC Electrical Inc. for twenty years as an electrician. The last two and half years Raymond worked at Meramec Instrument Transformers Company (M.I.T) in Cuba as a tester. Raymond started attending the Cuba United Methodist Church in 1993. He spent hours at church working on electrical wiring projects. Raymond was very active with Boy Scout Troop #463. He was the Charter Organization Rep of the Cub Scouts and Venture Scouts. He was also the Committee Member/Leader for the Boy Scouts. Raymond enjoyed cooking, adding different seasonings to food and in his younger years camping. Raymond spent his life helping others and was known by many for his story telling. Raymond was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, son-in-law and friend of many. He will be truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Raymond is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Hazel Kinder, father-in-law Earl Lloyd French and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife Kimberly Kinder of the home, two sons Ryan Matthew Kinder and Aaron Mitchell Kinder of St. James, two sisters Rachelle and husband Bob Furney of Gladstone, Missouri and Marqueta and husband Ed Brown of Kearney, Missouri, mother-in-law Fredie Sue French of Rolla, brothers-in-law David French of Carrollton, Missouri, Robert French of Rolla, Missouri, Richard French of Carrollton, Missouri, Frederick "Fred" and wife Nadene French of Ames, Iowa and Brian French of Carrollton, Missouri, sisters-in-law Rebecca White of Cuba, Cheryl French and friend Larry Wehmeyer of Cuba and Kerri and husband Justin Rubach of Union, Missouri, twelve nieces and nephews (and one more due in June), cousins, church family, Boy Scouts families and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 AM till 12 Noon Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the Cuba United Methodist Church, 903 W Washington Street, Cuba, Missouri. A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the Cuba United Methodist Church, 903 W Washington Street, Cuba with Pastor Joseph Frana officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Boy Scout Troop #463 or the Cuba United Methodist Church in Raymond's memory. In keeping with Raymond's wishes his family chose cremation. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Kinder family.
