Paula L. Rodgers

Paula Louise Rodgers of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of James and Rose (Lockhart) Dunn on July 29, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 54. Paula was united in marriage to Gerald E. Rodgers on October 19, 1975 and to this union two sons were born Gerald and James. Paula was a homemaker, taking care of her home and family were the most important part of her life. She enjoyed reading, watching TV, writing poetry and spending time with her grandkids. Paula is preceded in death by her parents and one brother Fred "Snooky" Miller. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her husband Gerald E. "Jerry" Rodgers; two sons Gerald and wife Penny Rodgers, Jr. , James and wife Taryn Rodgers; six grandchildren Jordan, Tyson, Gracie, Damien, Skylee and Mitchell all of Cuba, Missouri; three sisters Clare and husband Brent Carman of Fulton, Kentucky, Laura and husband Patrick Meckley of Dwight, Illinois, Georgia and husband Walter Jones of Beaverton, Oregon; two brothers Jerry Lockhart and Larry Miller both of Gerald, Missouri; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. In keeping with her wishes, Paula will be cremated. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Rodgers family.
