Nancy J. Weston

Nancy Jeanette (Earley) Weston of Cuba, Missouri was born on May 30, 1940, in Carrollton, Illinois, to Benjamin and Letha Earley. Throughout her 85 years, Nancy embraced life with love and devotion, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was the cherished mother of five children: Darrin (Carrie) Weston, Troy (Sherry) Weston, Shannon (Jason) Davis, Stormy (Shawn) Kehrer, and David Weston.

Known affectionately as "Grammy," Nancy was a proud grandmother to Michael Johnson, Eric (Laiken Orr) Weston, Jamie (Roy) Spicer, Jerry (Robbin Brown) Sanders, Amanda (Michael Copling) Mitchell, Jessica (Andrew) Ullrich, Kasey (Aaron) Conn, and Harley Mitchell. Her love extended further still as she joyfully became a great-grandmother to twenty and a great-great-grandmother to five. Nancy also treasured her role as aunt to Cindy (Terry) Zirkelbach, Dana (David) Brantley, Cody (Derek Huseman) Earley, Lisa Earley, and Jennifer Lair, and she held a special place in her heart for many great-nieces and nephews.

Nancy’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. A lifelong member of the Fidelity Assembly of God Church in Fidelity, Illinois, she found family and fellowship within this close-knit community. She adored playing music and singing alongside her church family from the tender age of 10 until the church’s closing in 2013. Guided by her deep connection to God, Nancy sought to live her life for Jesus in all that she did.

Nancy’s childhood best friend, Helen Reece, was a steadfast presence and beloved confidant, sharing in her joys and providing unwavering support through the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Letha Earley; her younger brother, Larry “Chub” Earley, and his wife Judy; her infant siblings Wayne and Beverley Earley; and her beloved son, David Weston, who was truly a precious gift in her life.

Nancy peacefully passed away at her home on Thursday, April 23, 2026, surrounded by the loving embrace of her family. Her warmth, faith, and dedication will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. In celebrating Nancy’s life, we honor a woman whose heart was filled with love, whose spirit was rooted in faith, and whose legacy will continue in the generations she so lovingly nurtured.
