Minnie J. Crider

April 28, 1933 — December 1, 2019

Minnie J. Crider of Bourbon, Missouri was born Friday, April 28, 1933 at Berryman, Missouri to the union of Calvin and Hattie (Nee: Chandler) Bridgeman. She went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis at the age of 86 years.

Minnie was united in marriage to Robert Crider on July 1, 1949 at Cuba, Missouri and to this union seven children were born; Dale, Gale, Raney, Gary, Donnie, Gloria and Randy.

Minnie spent her life taking care of her home and family. For a few years, she worked at a restaurant and the school cafeteria. Minnie loved reading her bible daily. She was a devout member of the C-Highway Full Gospel Church, Bourbon until her health began to decline.

She spent hours taking care of her plants and she could grew a beautiful orange plant in Missouri. The past several years, she enjoyed not cooking and going out to eat. What Minnie treasured most in life, was spending time with her family.

She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Minnie is preceded in death by her parents Calvin and Hattie Bridgeman; husband Robert Crider; one son Gale Crider; one brother Johnny Bridgeman; two sisters, Carey Weber, Mabel King; sister-in-law Barbara Bridgeman and other family and friends.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving children, Dale and wife Joann Crider of Bourbon, Raney and wife Ellen Crider of Sullivan, Gary and wife Cindy Crider of Bourbon, Donnie Crider of Bourbon, Gloria Crider of Indianapolis, Indiana, Randy Crider of Sullivan; eighteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; one brother Bud Bridgeman of California, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephew, great-great nieces, great-great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, December 6, 2019 from 5:00 till 8:00 p.m. at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor David Gargus officiating. Special recorded music will be "Go Rest High on that Mountain" and "Going Home".

Interment and prayers will follow at the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the C-Highway Full Gospel Church, 3524 Highway C, Bourbon, Missouri 65441 in Minnie's memory.

The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Crider family.
