Minnie A. Thebeau

Minnie A. Thebeau of Cuba, Missouri formerly of Richwoods, Missouri was born Thursday, May 16, 1918 at Richwoods, Missouri to the union of William and Theresa (Nee: Recar) Adams and left from this life on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Cuba Manor at the age of 96 years. Minnie was united in marriage to Vivian Thebeau November 3,1938 at Richwoods, Missouri and to this union nine children were born; Theresa, William "Billy", June, Janet, Elvin, Brenda, Tiny, Tony and Rhonda. Minnie spent her life taking care of family and home. She raised a large garden every summer and spent hours on end canning for the winter. Minnie was a fabulous cook and could bake bread, cobblers, donuts, cookies, cream puffs, coconut cream pies, biscuits and rolls, just to name a few, that were amazing. Minnie was a mid-wife in her younger years. She enjoyed quilting, dancing, fishing, playing bingo, traveling in her spare time. What Minnie treasure most in life was spending time with her family and friends. Minnie was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt, sister-in-law and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Minnie is preceded in death by her parents William and Theresa Adams, husband Vivian Thebeau, three children Theresa Gullett-Newbanks, William "Billy" Thebeau and Brenda Thebeau, two grandsons Roger and Kris, one great granddaughter Casey, five brothers, one sister and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her six loving children June and husband Bob Edwards of Nixa, Missouri, Janet and husband Billy McMullin of Nixa, Missouri, Elvin and wife Maxine Thebeau of St. Clair, Missouri, Tiny and husband Don Summers of Nixa, Missouri, Tony and wife Beth Thebeau of Desoto, Missouri and Rhonda and husband Randy Ware of Cuba, fourteen grandchildren; Kim, Darlene, Jeana, Tina, Tammy, Toni, Tiffany, Angel, Scott, Jason, Tara, Kris, Cody and Gabe, nineteen great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 5:00 till 8:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri, with Father Robert Liss as Celebrant. Special music will be "Be Not Afraid", "On Eagles Wings", "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Amazing Grace". Interment and prayers will follow at the St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery, 11514 State Highway A, Richwoods, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (http://www.nationalbreastcancer.org/) in Minnie's memory.
