Mildred G. "Millie" Brewer

 

Mildred G. “Millie” Brewer of Cuba, Missouri was born on Tuesday, July 28, 1936, in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Michael and Cecelia (Groner) Ehren. She left this life on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Meramec Nursing Center in Sullivan at the age of 86.

 

Mildred was united in marriage to Stanley R. Brewer on February 19, 1955, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cuba. To this union three children were born Stanley M., Teresa and Brad.

 

Mildred worked at Convey Shoe and later retired from Brown Shoe Company, after many years of dedicated service. She showed horses with her children for several years and won several trophies along the way. She loved to spend time with and spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Cecelia (Groner) Ehren; husband Stanley R. Brewer; sisters and brothers Florence “Sister Mary Claver” Ehren, Barbara Steinman, Deloris Ehren, Ealnor Patrick, Michael Ehren, Evelyn Marr, Donald Ehren and Cecilia Browning; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Vesper and wife Maxine Brewer, Oneda and husband Thurman Chandler.

 

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her three children Stanley M. “Bud” and wife Tammy Brewer of Safe, Teresa and husband Greg Fudge of Cuba, Brad and wife Tara Brewer of Cuba; six grandchildren Shawna Brewer and husband Jaron Keeling of Alabama, Zach and wife Courtney Fudge of Cuba, Josh Fudge of Cuba, Devan and husband Tim Menzel of St. Louis, Kelsey Brewer and friend Matt Nicholas of St. Louis, Regan Brewer and friend Brendin Hensley of Cuba; five great-grandchildren Johny Fudge, Ryan Groom, Charlie Fudge, Benny Fudge and Maxx Fudge; four sisters Margaret Clark of Texas, Frances and husband Jim Wilkerson of Rolla, Joann and husband Kenny Glaser of Owensville, Loretta and husband Peter Jakubiec of Michigan; one sister-in-law Patsy Chandler of Cuba; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

 

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Father Dan Lueckenotte, officiating.

 

Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.

 

Honored to be serving as pallbearers are Zach Fudge, Josh Fudge, Tim Menzel, Matt Nicholas, Brendin Hensley and David Ehren.
