Mary Jean Weber of Cuba, Missouri was born June 25, 1947 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of John and Virginia (Nee: Novak) Weigel and left from this life on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at her home in Cuba, Missouri at the age of 67 years. Mary was united in marriage to Ralph Weber on July 25, 1968 at Pacific Beach, California and to this union four children were born; Loraine, Ralph Jr., Rick and Nick. Mary spent her life taking care of her family and home. She loved being mom and felt truly blessed to be grandma. She cooked from scratch and used her own recipes. To Mary cooking was an art and she believed that she was the only one who could cook correctly. She loved to travel, play bingo, trips to Vegas and the casino. Mary watched games shows, Animal Planet Channel, westerns and soap operas. What she truly enjoyed most was spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends. Mary was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, sister-in-law and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mary is preceded in death by her parents John and Virginia Weigel, six brothers Johnny, Bobby, Norman, Forrest, George and Jimmy Weigel, one sister Dorothy Soyster and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her loving husband Ralph Weber of the home, one daughter Loraine Weigel Carey of Union, Missouri , three sons Ralph Jr and Amber Weber of Cuba, Rick Weber of Cuba and Nick Weber and fiancé Deborah Piatt of Cherryville, Missouri, seven amazing grandchildren, one brother Bernard and wife Juanita Weigel of Kentucky, sisters-in-law Demetera Weigel of Cuba, Shirley Weigel Doolin of Cahokia, Illinois, Linda and husband Mick McGuire of Bourbon, Nona and husband Rick Taylor of Oklahoma, Theresa Miller of Leasburg, brothers-in-law John and wife Shirley Weber of Cuba, Bill and wife Mary Ann Weber of Cuba, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, May 22, 2015 from 5:00 till 8:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba. Special music will be "Amazing Grace" and "I Cross My Heart". Interment and prayers will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Mizell Funeral Home. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Weber family.
