Mary E. Taylor

May 31, 1935 — June 26, 2019

Mary E. Taylor of St. James, Missouri, formerly of Cuba and St. Clair, was born Friday, May 31, 1935 at St. Clair, Missouri to the union of Frank V. and Helen R. (Nee: Baldridge) Frossard. She left from this life on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at her home in Rolla at the age of 84 years.

Mary was united in marriage to Kenneth R. "Bus" Taylor on September 12, 1953 and they were happily married for sixty-four years when Bus passed away in March of 2017.

Mary retired in the mid 1980's from the Midway Motor Lodge where she worked in the housekeeping department for many years. She was a member of Trinity Chapel in Cuba for many years before moving to St. Clair and then she attended Canaan Land Ministries.

Mary treasured the time she spent with her nieces and nephews going on trips to Disney, Six Flags and the river. She loved spoiling them. Mary was an avid gardener and her flower gardens were always the most beautiful in town. She was an excellent cooker, immaculate housekeeper and Mary and Bus spent many hours going to auctions buying things which lead to them having many yard sales.

Mary's God given talent was quilting. Her quilts were made with love and will keep her family warm for generations to come.

Mary spent twenty years taking care of and spoiling Kayla, Alex and Jenna. They were truly her granddaughters.

Mary was a loving daughter, sister, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, sister-in-law and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parent Frank and Helen Frossard, her loving husband Bus Taylor, one sister Virginia Ruesing, one brother Joe Frossard and other family and friends.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving grandchildren; Kayla and husband Richard Korte of Cuba, Alex and husband Neal Grogan of West Lafayette, Indiana and Jenna Medwick of St. Louis, six amazing great grandchildren; Sophia, Violet Mae, Blaine, June, Zaverie and William, three brothers; James and wife Linda Frossard of Lee High Acres, Florida, Dan and wife Bernice Frossard of Washington, Missouri, Kenneth and wife Debbie Frossard of Washington, Missouri, two sisters; Clara Zinselmeier of Afton, Missouri and Edna and husband Richard Girardier of St. Clair, niece, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private services and burial were held under the direction of Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba.
