Mary Ann Osborne

September 19, 1959 — April 17, 2015

Mary Ann Aberer Osborne (Conway) of Leasburg, Missouri was born September 19, 1955 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Richard Eugene and Mary Katherine (Nee: Enke) Aberer and left from this life on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 59 years. Mary was united in marriage to Chester L. "Sonny" Osborne on June 21, 1979 at Cuba, Missouri and to this union two children were born; Steven and Gale. Sonny passed away on October 28, 2007. After a few years passed Mary met Jerry Conway, they fell in love and on June 14, 2014 they were united in marriage at Sullivan, Missouri. Mary started her career, of taking care of others, by working on the ambulance for Crawford County. She then attended nursing school at Park College where she received her RN - Register Nurse Degree. After passing her nursing boards Mary went to work for Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri. She worked at the hospital for many years before moving to Phelps County Regional Hospice. Mary was the hospice nurse that everyone loved. She would take care of the patient but more important she took care of their families as if they were her own family. As a child Mary learned to sew, ride a bike, fish and the joys of camping. Mary was an excellent cook and could make and bake anything. She would spend days getting ready for Thanksgiving and her pumpkin pies were the world's best. Mary's favorite holiday was Christmas. Christmas was her time to spoil her husband, children, grandchildren and other family. She would spend hours shopping, wrapping and preparing for that special day. Mary enjoyed being outdoors, traveling and spending time with family. If you asked Mary how her family was, her eyes would light up and a big smile would occur. She loved her family, loved spoiling them and prayed for all of them every day. Mary and Jerry were attending the New Testament Baptist Church in Sullivan for the last few years. Mary was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, sister-in-law, friend and "Angel" sent from above for lots of people. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mary is preceded in death by her parents Richard Eugene and Mary Katherine Aberer, first husband Sonny Osborne, one daughter Gale E. Osborne and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her loving husband Jerry Conway of the home, one son Steven Osborne of Leasburg, two step sons Jeff Norris of Cuba and Jerry and wife Darlene Conway of Cuba, eleven of the most amazing grandchildren, one brother Eugene "Chris" and wife Emma Aberer of Cuba, one sister Anna Louise and husband Kevin Roy of St. James, special nephew David Roy, special niece Bridgette Wells, brother-in-law Joe and wife Denise Baxter of Londell, Missouri, sister-in-law Brenda Rice of St. Clair, Missouri, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and many friends.
