Mary Ann Moore

Mary Ann Moore, DC of Davisville, Missouri was born Sunday, November 23, 1952 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Otto and Geogiana (Nee: Kleffner) Rasch. She left from this life on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 in St. Louis at the age of 66.

Mary Ann graduated from Miss Hickey's Business School with a Secretarial Degree. She continued her education and received an Undergraduate Degree in Horticulture. September of 1985 Mary Ann graduated from Logan University with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Mary Ann worked as a Chiropractor for many years. On October 12, 1985, one month after graduation, Mary Ann was united in marriage to John Moore in Washington, Missouri.

In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, being outside in the country air and riding behind John on the motorcycle. She was an avid reader and had an amazing collection of books. She was one a first name basis with the staff of the Steelville library.

What Mary Ann treasured most was getting to spend time with her grandchildren and family. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, stepmother, grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law and friend of many. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her father Otto Rasch, brother Michael Rasch, brother-in-law Bob Stephens and other family and friends.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband John Moore of the home, stepdaughter; Sarah and husband Gary Jennings of Lake Stephens, Washington, three amazing grandchildren; Tevin, Jaden and Hannah, her mother; Geogiana Rasch of Meridian, Idaho, one sister Regina Stephens of Meridian, Idaho, one brother Gerry and wife Pat Rasch of St. Louis, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Free Will Baptist Church, 45 Highway 49, Viburnum, Missouri with Pastor Evan Bell officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. till service time.

Davisville, Missouri 65453 in Mary Ann's memory.

In keeping with Mary Ann's wishes, she was cremated, and she was inurned at Fort Leonard Wood Veterans Cemetery, Waynesville, Missouri.

The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving Mary Ann's family.
