Mary Ann (Menz) Mcpherson

Mary Ann McPherson of Cuba, Missouri was born on May 8, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of John B. and Mary C. (Koebel) Menz. She left from this life at Cuba Manor on Monday, April 11, 2022 at the age of 87.

Mary Ann was united in marriage to Lee McPherson, Jr. on November 13, 1952 in Arkansas. To this union nine children were born Sherman, Tom, Sharon, Debbie, Leroy, Bonnie, Julie, Nancy and John.

Mary Ann worked for Brown Shoe Factory, Briarwood Nursing Home and she would later retire from Gen Corp. She enjoyed walking, going to thrift shops, cooking, picking berries in her garden and spending time with her family and friends.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents John B. and Mary C. (Koebel) Menz; husband Lee McPherson, Jr. two children Debbie Lewis and Leroy McPherson; two brothers John Menz and Donald Menz; three sisters Rosemary and husband Ed Hamilton, Florence and husband Frank Pinnell and Mary Menz.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her seven children Tom and wife Connie McPherson of Cuba, John and wife Michelle McPherson of Rosebud, Sherman McPherson of Cuba, Sharon Harvey of Wildwood, Bonnie and husband John Hoy Owensville, Julie McPherson and husband Rick Hendrix of St. Joseph, Nancy Brooks of Cuba; one sister Catherine Lackner of Cuba; three brothers Thomas and wife Gerry Menz of Owensville, Eugene and wife Sue Menz of Owensville, Louis and wife Margaret Menz of New Haven; eighteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 11:00 a.m. at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri with Father Dan Lueckenotte as the officiant.
