Mary Ann Gregory

Mary Ann Gregory (nee: Warden) of Cuba, Missouri was born Monday, December 9, 1946 at Blackwell, Missouri and left from this life surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 66 years and 13 days. Mary Ann was united in marriage to Donald Gregory on May 1, 1965 at Potosi, Missouri and to this union three beautiful daughters were born Tammy, Melissa and Crystal. Mary Ann has been retired for several years but in her younger years she worked in the restaurant business, mowed grass, painted houses and was an excellent cook especially her biscuits. Mary Ann enjoyed watching scary movies, Texas Walker Ranger, Clint Eastwood movies, NCIS, always kept a clean house and truly enjoyed all foods especially sweets, but what Mary Ann enjoyed most was spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and family. Mary Ann was a loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mary Ann is preceded in death by her mother Clara (nee: Warden) Benson, step father Lloyd Benson, brothers and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her husband Don Gregory, three daughters Tammy Gregory of Nashville, Tennessee, Melissa Gregory of Cuba and Crystal and husband Dennis Richards of Cuba, two grandchildren Jonathon Gregory and Carissa Melton Gregory, favorite puppy Tater, special cat Laleh, sister Violet Graham of Arkansas, brothers Ralph and wife Colleen Warden and Jimmy and wife Joan Graham of Potosi, aunt Gertrude Warden of Farmington and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 5:00 till 8:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Latham officiating. Special music will be "I'll Fly Away", "Amazing Grace" and "Wind Beneath My Wings". Interment and prayers will follow at the Antioch Cemetery, Washington County. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Gregory family.
