Martin Randall 'Marty' Adams

Martin Randall "Marty" Adams of Cuba, Missouri was born November 22, 1957 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Ralph E. Adams, Sr. and Veda L. (Nee: Leslie) Adams and left from this life on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at his home in Cuba, Missouri at the age of 57 years. Marty lived the majority of his life in St. Louis were he worked at Crown Food Industries for over fifteen years. He later moved to Louisiana were he worked for Caterpillar Inc before becoming disabled and settling down in Cuba to be closer to family. Marty greatest joy in life was his love for his children and family. He also enjoyed reading, socializing and being outdoors. Marty was a loving son, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend of everyone he met. Marty will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Marty is preceded in death by his parents Ralph, Sr. and Veda Adams, four brothers Gary, Michael, Brian and Junior Adams, one nephew Daniel Adams, one brother-in-law Melvin Makara and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy is his son Ronald "Ronnie" Adams of Missouri, daughter Lisa Adams of St. Louis County, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, one brother Tony and wife Pat Dixon of St. Louis, six sisters Jackie Makara of Cuba, Carolyn and husband Donald Bowolak of St. Louis, Barbara "Jeannie" and husband Michael Zobrist of Cuba, Debbie and husband Michael Evans of St. Louis, Sandra and husband James Mendoza and Terri and husband Jim Tyler of Cuba, special friend Nancy Treece of Cuba, oldest and dearest friend Vicky Adams, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba, Missouri. Special music will be "Amazing Grace", "Go Rest High on that Mountain" and "When I Get Where I'm Going". Interment and prayers will follow at the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Adams family.
