Marsha Lynn Gossage of Bourbon, Missouri was born Wednesday, October 15, 1955 at Centerville, Illinois to the union of William Wayne "Bill" and Deloris (Nee: Fox) Huggins, Sr. and left from this surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at her home in Bourbon, Missouri at the age of 60 years. Marsha was united in marriage to Charles M. Gossage on February 17, 1973 at the farm in Millstadt, Illinois and to this union one son was born Charles, Jr. Marsha enjoyed sitting outside on the "veranda" (front porch) having coffee, enjoying the sunshine and watching the lake. Marsha spent many evenings and weekends at the Camp Jackson Volunteer Fire Department in Illinois. She would stay at the fire house when Charles was on a fire call and have food ready when the fire fighters returned. The kitchen at the fire house was her kitchen and everyone knew better than to touch anything in it. Marsha's collected pigs of all sizes, all colors and all designs. What Marsha loved most in life was spending time with family and friends. Marsha was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, niece, aunt, great aunt, cousin, daughter-in-law and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Marsha is preceded in death by her father William "Bill" Huggins, Sr., father-in-law Johnnie Gossage, one aunt Eileen Blair, one uncle Wendell J. Huggins, brother-in-law Roy Wechell and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband Charles Gossage of the home, son Chuck Gossage ad friend Stacy Tackett of Bourbon, mother Deloris Huggins of Bourbon, sister Deborah and husband Robert Timmons, three brothers William and wife Pam Huggins, Jr of Bourbon, Ronald and wife Dana Huggins of Bourbon and Donald Huggins of Waterloo, Illinois, eleven grandchildren Brittany, Taiylor, Brendan, Rees, Tori, Jasmine, Billy, Stanley, Stephanie, Adam and Jordan, one aunt Linda Mannon of Bourbon, one uncle James and wife Linda Huggins of Shirley, Arkansas, mother-in-law Vanda Gossage of Rolla, sisters-in-law Joyce Ann Wechell of Caseyville, Illinois and Sandy and husband Leon Short of Cuba, brother-in-law Johnnie and wife Elizabeth Gossage of St. Clair, Missouri, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, November 27, 2015 from 5:00 till 8:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba with Pastor Richard Martin officiating. Special recorded music will be "I Won't Let Go" and "My Wish". Interment and prayers will follow at the Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association is Marsha's memory. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving Marsha's family.
