Lovisa Marie (Orton) Evans, 40, of Bourbon, passed away unexpectedly, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at her home.
On November 22, 1985, Lovisa was born to the union of Barry "Butch" Orton & Thea Lovisa "Theodora" (Hunter) in Heidelberg, Germany.
She was united in marriage to Justin Evans on June 15, 2013, at Crossroads Baptist Church in Leasburg, Missouri.
Lovisa was a loving mother, always caring for her children making sure that their needs were met. She loved getting together with all of the family for fun activities and quality time. Going to the beaches in Florida always raised Lovisa's spirits and allowed her to relax and take in a breath of fresh air. She also enjoyed float trips, talking to her mom on the phone, listening to music and going to comedy shows with her husband, Justin. Lovisa was also a talented writer. Writing allowed her to express herself and her creativity. Most of all, Lovisa loved her family, her children and her many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Barry "Butch" Orton; her niece, Jordan Orton.
Lovisa is survived by her husband, Justin Evans of Bourbon; three children, Alaina Evans, Justin Evans II & Eleanor Evans all of Bourbon; her mother, Thea Lovisa "Theodora" Orton of Leasburg; siblings, James Orton of Leasburg of Leasburg, Paul Orton of Leasburg, Michael Orton of Leasburg & Vanita (James) Kings of Leasburg; parents-in-law, Gary (Loretta) Evans of Bourbon; brothers-in-law, Jared Evans of Branson; sisters-in-law, Kenna (Erik) Yalcin of St. Louis & Kendra Evans of Illinois; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers donations are appreciated to Justin Evans for her children.
A visitation will be held, Monday, June 29, 2026, from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory, Cuba, Missouri. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 P.M. also at Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial with a graveside service will take place at Lea Cemetery in Leasburg.
Arrangements are under the compassionate care of Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory, Cuba, Missouri.
