Linda Lea Mcguire

December 30, 1946 — January 22, 2022

Linda Lea McGuire (nee: Weber) of Bourbon, Missouri was born on Monday, December 30th 1946 to Clyde William and Mary Elizabeth (Russel) Weber. She passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Cuba Manor at the age of 75 years.

Linda grew up in the Cuba area and was a Cuba High School graduate of the class of 64. She was a very proud Cuba Wildcat.

Linda worked at many jobs over the years. She spent 27 years working at Paramount in Bourbon. Through the years she enjoyed waiting tables at many local restaurants. She enjoyed visiting with customers and sharing her faith with many. Working at the Best Western in Cuba, she met her late husband Mick. While working various jobs, she put herself through beauty school and earned her beauticians license. For several years, she cut hair in the evening and on weekends at Norma’s in Bourbon.

In the later years, she took on many different jobs in the area. She loved her time at Town and Country Deli in Bourbon, where she could visit with the many customers and help them anyway she could. She also spent some time working at Salvation Army in Bourbon, where she helped in the kitchen and visited with the campers. She never knew a stranger and was always willing to listen and lend help whenever she could.

She enjoyed traveling with her late husband Mick. All she had to say was I want to go and he would ask her when they were leaving. They traveled to many places in the United States. Her most memorable trip was their one to Washington, DC. They enjoyed many trips to Gulf Port Mississippi to visit Anna Kay and Bud. Linda also enjoyed her many trips with Butch to Oklahoma, during the holidays, to visit her sister Nona and husband Rick and their family.

She also enjoyed going to the truck stop to meet for breakfast with her mom, her brother John and Shirley and her brother Bill and Marianna.

Linda was a clown at heart and cherished her time with Mary Lee Bock when they did their Christian Clown shows. She loved her girl’s night out at Applebee’s or Chinese with Peggy, Donita and Norma. Linda also looked forward to Friday’s with Emily to get her hair done and eat fish for supper.

Linda was a member of Injoy Christian Fellowship. She truly enjoyed and loved her church family.

Linda is survived by her #1 son, Butch Hinch and wife Serena of Bourbon, one grandson Blake Hinch of Bourbon, five siblings Nona Taylor and husband Rick of Sand Springs OK, Bill Weber and wife Marianna of Cuba, Ralph Weber of Troy, Theresa Chandler and husband Dennis of Cuba and Clyde Edward Weber and wife Vickie of Louisville KY, one sister in law Shirley Weber of Cuba.
