Linda Sue (Huggins) Mannon

Linda Sue Mannon, 78, of Bourbon, passed away, on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Victorian Manor of Cuba. 

On January 14, 1947, Linda was born to the union of Rufus James Huggins & Muriel (Williams) in Shirley, Arkansas. 

She was united in marriage to the late Clarence Mannon. 

Linda worked for many years as a quality control inspector for Seigel Roberts Plating Company in St. Louis. 

She loved spending time outside tending to her beautiful garden. Her talents extended indoors as she was able to prepare wonderful meals with the fruits of her labor from her gardens as well as the most delicious baked goods in Crawford County. Most of all, Linda loved spending quality time with her family & friends. She will be truly missed by all who knew & loved her. 

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus James & Muriel Huggins; her husband, Clarence Mannon; one son, Melvin Mannon; four siblings, William Huggins Sr., James (Linda) Huggins, Wendell Huggins & Eileen Blair. 

Linda is survived by her loving son, James (Christine) Mannon of Jackson; grandson, Neal Mannon of Illinois; sister-in-law, Deloris Huggins of Bourbon; nieces; nephews; other relatives & many friends. 

A visitation for Linda will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory. A Funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Don Martin as the clergy. Burial will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis at 11:00 A.M.
