Larry Michael Casarotto

Larry Michael Casarotto of Leasburg, Missouri was born on Friday, April 25, 1952 in Rosati, Missouri to the union of Hector Frank and Wilda Marie (Licklider) Casarotto. He left from this life on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Cedar Pointe Nursing Home in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 69.

Larry was united in marriage to Frances Susan Mullen on September 6, 1975 at the home of Mark and Patty Harris in Cuba. To this union one son was born Jason.

Larry retired from Yellow Freight, after twenty-eight years of having traveled many miles. He enjoyed hunting, fly fishing, carpentry work and playing Blue Grass music on his guitar and banjo. He will be remembered for his love of his family and friends.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents Hector Frank and Wilda Marie (Licklider) Casarotto; brother Jerry A. Casarotto; parents-in-law William and Frances Mullen; two sisters-in-law Linda Jones and Mary Alice Gindhart; nephew Eugene “Mike” Casarotto.

Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife of forty-six years F. Susan Casarotto of Leasburg; son Jason and Danielle Casarotto of Cuba; three grandchildren Aiden Casarotto, Austin Thomas and fiancé Grace Horsefield, Cason Thomas; brother Eugene “Geno” and wife Wanda Casarotto of Cuba; sister Marilyn and husband Charles Chasen of California, Missouri; two brothers-in-law Jerry Jones of Springfield, Missouri and Bud Gindhart of Dewey, Arizona; cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Father Dan Lueckenotte as the officiant.

Larry will be cremated following the funeral service. His cremated remains will be buried at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Rosati, Missouri.

If desired , memorials would be appreciated to St. Anthony's Cemetery or Alzheimer's Association.
