Kristen C. Ferguson

September 25, 1993 — May 19, 2020

Kristen C. Ferguson of Cuba, Missouri was born Saturday, September 25, 1993 to James and Amy (Nee: Franke) Ferguson. She left from this life on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Cuba, Missouri at the young age of 26 years.

Kristen was a graduate of the Cuba High School. She had a few odd jobs along the way and the last place she worked at was LSC Communications, Owensville, Missouri.

Kristen loved all types of music and she spent hours singing all her favorite songs. She loved being outdoors, going to the river, reading and coloring with colored pencils. Kristen enjoyed aggravating the people she loved, and you could always find her hanging out with her friends.

Kristen was the peace maker of the family and the one who always found the good in others. Her smile would light up a room and eyes always sparkled. What she truly treasured most in life was spoiling her nieces and nephews and spending time with her family.

Kristen was a loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, granddaughter, niece, great niece, cousin, and friend of everyone. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her grandmothers Doris Williams and Virginia Sansoucie; aunt Kimberly Franke; uncle Michael Ferguson and other family and friends.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her mom Amy and husband John Hensley of Cuba; dad James and wife Gena Ferguson of Cuba; six siblings Bethany Ferguson of Cuba, Olivia Hensley of Cuba, Brittany Hensley of Sullivan, Marki Suggs of Sikeston, Missouri, Michelle and husband Justin Truman of Sullivan and Seth Ferguson of Cuba; grandfathers Vernon Franke of Marquand, Missouri, Howard Sansoucie of Cuba; grandmother Carry Hensley of Cuba; nieces and nephews Paisley Mabe, Braxton Wilson, Andrew Truman, Zoey Henderson, Piper Hensley and Haley Sansoucie; aunts and uncles Gina and husband Rich Nosrati of Dixon, California, Becky Franke-Pohlmann and companion Greg Duvall of Troy and Virginia "Lynn" Sansoucie of Rolla; great aunts, great uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

A private family graveside was held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cuba.

The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving Kristen's family.
