Helen Julia Jennings, known to all as Julie, of Cuba, Missouri, was born on February 24, 1957, to Walter and Helen (Brown) Weaver. She entered eternal rest on November 10, 2025, at the age of 68.
Julie married Edward Michael Jennings on May 3, 1983, in Webster Groves, Missouri, and together they welcomed two children, Brian and Karen.
A dedicated educator, Julie earned her bachelor’s degree from Lincoln University and went on to retire as a Special Education Teacher with the Gasconade County R2 School District. Her passions extended beyond the classroom; she found joy in sewing, singing, fishing, and observing nature, particularly the beauty of wild birds.
Julie is preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law, Shelley Bell.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Mike Jennings of Cuba; her children, Brian Jennings of St. Louis and Karen (Ted) Timmons of Cuba; and her granddaughter, Hailey Timmons. Julie also leaves behind her three brothers, Tony (Sally) Weaver of Eureka, Strode (Judy) Weaver of Leavenworth, Washington and Walt (Gwen) Weaver of Raleigh, North Carolina; her sister, Pat (Joe) Stultz of South Carolina; her brother-in-law, John (Debbie) Jennings of Cuba; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Julie has been cremated, and a celebration of Julie's life will be announced at a later date.
