Jean N. Collias Sr.

Jean N. Collias, Sr. of Sullivan, Missouri was born to the union of George N. and Martha L. (Van'Buskirk) Collias on October 4, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri at the age of 77. Jean was united marriage to Geraldine L. "Geri" Robinson on March 15, 1957 and to this union four children were born Jean N. Jr., Theodore E., Maria L. and Melanie. Jean was a retired Truck Driver, having spent many hours and days and traveling many miles on the road. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. In his spare time he enjoyed collecting coins, crossword puzzles, history and watching Jeopardy. Jean is preceded in death by his parents George N. and Martha L. (Van'Buskirk) Collias; wife Geraldine L. "Geri" Collias; one brother and sister-in-law Bill and Nyla Mae O'Donnell. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his four children Jean N. Collias, Jr. of Robertsville, Missouri, Theodore E. and wife Connie Collias of Warrenton, Missouri, Maria L. and husband Edward Potter of Leasburg, Missouri, Melanie and husband Larry Busse of Sullivan, Missouri; one brother Joe and wife Margaret Collias of St. Louis, Missouri; one sister-in-law Edna Kelso of St. Louis, Missouri; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
