James Richard Kersey

James Richard Kersey of Ashburn, Georgia formerly of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Taylor P. and Mabel E. (Heseman) Kersey on October 24, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Friday, August 9, 2013 at Heritage Health Care in Ashburn, Georgia at the age of 75. James was disabled, but enjoyed life, a cup of coffee and a smoke. In his younger years he enjoyed playing the piano. James is preceded in death by his parents Taylor P. and Mabel E. Heseman. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Graveside service and Interment will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 11:00 a.m. at Lick Creek Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri with Rev. Ben McDaniel officiating. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of James Richard Kersey.
