Isabelle M. Harmon

Isabelle M. Harmon of Leasburg, Missouri was born to the union of Joseph and Isabelle (Pino) Narrow on January 19, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Life Care Center in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 87. Isabelle was united in marriage to Walter J. Harmon, Jr. on April 3, 1948 in Richmond Heights, Missouri and to this union seven children were born Walter III, Patrick, Steve, Kathleen, Kevin, Kenneth and Lisa. Isabelle was a homemaker. She was a very talented lady and touched many lives along her journey in life. She enjoyed being an artist, writer, playing the piano, organ and accordion, swimming instructor and teaching adult literacy. Isabelle is preceded in death by parents Joseph and Isabelle (Pino) Narrow; husband Walter J. Harmon, Jr.; one daughter Lisa Bruning; one grandson Keith Harmon; one brother Eugene Narrow; one sister Nina Brinker. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her six children Walter and wife Betty Harmon, III of High Ridge, Missouri, Patrick "Pat" and wife Judy Harmon of Hillsboro, Missouri, Steve and wife Linda Harmon of Sullivan, Missouri, Kathleen Parnell of Bourbon, Missouri, Kevin and wife Karen Harmon of Festus, Missouri, Kenneth and wife Tammy Harmon of Leasburg, Missouri; son-in-law David Bruning of Japan, Missouri; twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 10:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Father Rich Boever, officiating. Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Harmon family.
