Irl David Darrough

Irl David Darrough of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Charles Henry and Dolores (Vocks) Darrough on January 28, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at his home at the age of 57. Irl worked many years as a Pipefitter in the St. Louis area, having worked for Gaines Heating and Air Conditioning, Daganhardt Heating and Air Conditioning, St. Louis School Board. He enjoyed living at Indian Hills, where he was able to go fishing and make many friends. Irl was a handyman, enjoyed watching sports and going on float trips on the Meramec and Huzzah Rivers. Irl is preceded in death by his parents; one brother Charles Darrough; two sisters-in-law Virginia and Doris Darrough. There who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his fiancée and love of his life Judy Dablemont of Cuba, Missouri; two sons Jason Allen and Jeffrey Scott Darrough both of St. Louis, Missouri; one grandson Kaynen Darrough; four brothers John Darrough of Cuba, Missouri, James and wife Marjorie Darrough of Warrenton, Missouri, Joseph Darrough of St. Louis, Missouri, Bruce Darrough and wife Cynthia Pilling of Wildwood, Missouri; sister-in-law Karen Darrough of St. Peters, Missouri; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. In keeping with his wishes, Irl will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Darrough family.
