Ida Mae Licklider

Ida Mae Licklider of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Walter and Sarah (Enloe) Pinnell on September 19, 1918 in Crawford County, Missouri and left from this life on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at her daughters home in Foley, Missouri at the age of 94. Ida was united in marriage to Solomon B. Licklider on October 19, 1940 in Steelville, Missouri and to this union five children were born, Lloyd, Jim, Juanita, Charles and Kathy. Ida was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, cooking, crafts and spending time with her family and friends. Ida is preceded in death by her parents; husband Solomon B. Licklider; four brothers Earl, Frank, John and George Pinnell. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her five children Lloyd and wife Betty Licklider of Cuba, Missouri, Jim and wife Connie Licklider of Owensville, Missouri, Juanita and husband Fred Horstman of Foley, Missouri, Charles and wife Marilyn Licklider of Cuba, Missouri, Kathy and husband Corky Stack of St. James, Missouri; one sister Gladyne Riddle of Cuba, Missouri; one brother Jimmy Pinnell of St. Ann, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Payne, officiating. Interment will follow at Licklider Cemetery. Honored to be serving as pallbearers will be Lance Stack, John and David Licklider, Bill and Randy Horstman, Donnie Schwartz, Amos King, Daniel Buttig and Travis Hunter. If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the Licklider Cemetery. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Licklider family.
