Houston K. Wycoff

Houston Kenneth Wycoff of Washington, Missouri was born on Wednesday, January 6, 1943, in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Albert H. and Callie (Houston) Wycoff. He left from this life on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Grandview Health Care in Washington, Missouri at the age of 79.

Houston was united in marriage to Carlene Foster on May 20, 1961, in Cuba, Missouri. To this union three children were born Kenneth, Tanya and Patrice.

Houston was a man with a kind and giving soul that would do his best to help someone whether they were family, friend or a complete stranger in need even if it took away from his own needs. He was always hard working. He started working in accounting right out of high school, he would later own and operate Wycoff Accounting Services for nearly 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, baseball, animals and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Houston is preceded in death by his parents Albert H. and Callie (Houston) Wycoff; three brothers-in-law Don Licklider, Doyle Wools and Bob Brewer.

Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his wife Carlene Wycoff of Washington; three children Kenneth (Shelley) Wycoff of Fenton, Tanya Berry (Virgil Summers) of DeSoto, Patrice (John) Massey of Steelville; nine grandchildren Carla Randall of Potosi, Justin (Stephanie) Randall of Potosi, Anthony (Jessica) Massey of Stafford Virginia, Jacob (Ashley) Wycoff of Union, Ashley Massey (Chase Francis) of Cuba, Alie (Cameron) Coleman of Potosi, Ashley (John) Schultz of St. Louis, Jared Bailey of Fenton and Brandon Bailey of Fenton; sixteen great-grandchildren Landon, Weston and Miah Sprous, Brooklyn and Maddie Randall, Jaxson, Elijah and Graysen Massey, Levi, Wiatt and Grace Wycoff, Theodore Francis, Chloe and Carter Coleman, Landon and Harper Schultz; one sister Alberta Licklider of Cuba; three sisters-in-law Donna Wools of Cuba, Kathleen Brewer of Springfield and Beverly (Roy) Lane of Poplar Bluff, brother-in-law Alvin (Joan) Foster of Naples Florida; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Don Martin, officiating.

Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.

If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association.
