Herbert A. 'Mick' Mcguire Iii

Herbert A. "Mick" McGuire, III of Bourbon, Missouri was born to the union of Herbert A. and Ruth (Ryan) McGuire, II on August 29, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan and left from this life on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri at the age of 73. Mick was united in marriage to Linda Weber on December 2, 1994 in Bourbon, Missouri. Mick was a retired Machinist, having worked for Mullen Machine in St. Clair and later Fleming Manufacturing in St. James. He proudly served his Country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Injoy Christian Fellowship Church and served as the Church Clerk. Mick was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan. He enjoyed playing golf, reading, writing and he became a novelist, publishing his first novel "Return to Topic Bay". Mick is preceded in death by his parents Herbert A. and Ruth (Ryan) McGuire, II; one sister Ruth Ann Bauman. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his wife Linda McGuire of Bourbon, Missouri; two sons Herbert A. "Mickey" and wife Julie McGuire, IV of East Jordan, Michigan, Mike and wife Dawn Carwile of Port Huron, Michigan; one daughter Christine and husband Miguel Torres of Spring Hill, Florida; one step-son Butch and wife Serena Hinch of Bourbon, Missouri; one sister Darlene Rock and companion Jim of Palmetto, Florida; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law John and wife Shirley Weber, William and wife Marianna Weber, Ralph Weber all of Cuba, Missouri, Nona and husband Rick Taylor of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Clyde Edward and wife Vicky Weber of Louisville, Kentucky, Theresa Miller of Leasburg, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Injoy Christian Fellowship Church 4780 Old Hwy. 66, Bourbon, Missouri. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 11:00 a.m. at Injoy Christian Fellowship Church with Pastors Michael Potter and Chris Hammons, officiating. Full Military Honors to conclude the service. Inurnment was held at Ft. Leonard Wood State Veterans Cemetery, Waynesville, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Injoy Christian Fellowship Church Building Fund. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the McGuire family.
