Henry Leroy Hopwood Jr.

Henry Leroy Hopwood, Jr. of Cuba, Missouri was born on October 24, 1937 in Cuba, Missouri to the union of Henry L. and Martha (Ware) Hopwood, Sr. and left from this life on Thursday, September 17, 2015 in Cuba, Missouri at the age of 77. Henry worked most of his life as factory worker for Brown Shoe Company, Proctor Products and Cuba Brake Parts. He enjoyed being outdoors working on his farm and taking care of his cattle. Henry is preceded in death by his parents and wife Peggy J. Hopwood. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his three sons Timothy Hopwood, Kenneth and wife Shelly Hopwood, Dennis and wife Barb Hopwood; eight grandchildren Matt, Josh, Keegan, Jason, Justin, Ashley, Logan and Hailey; one aunt Bonnie Ware; cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Derik Ruble, officiating. Interment will follow at Delhi Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Hopwood family.
