Helen Frances Heller

Helen Frances Heller of Cuba, Missouri was born February 11, 1915 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Robert E. and Martha A. (Schaub) Hunter and left from this life on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Laclede Groves Lutheran Convalescent Center in Webster Groves, Missouri at the age of 97. Helen was a homemaker and spent many years living at Indian Hills. She was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Bourbon, MO, where she was very active with the Ladies Aide Group. In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, crocheting, quilting, embroidery work and crafts. Helen is preceded in death by her parents Robert E. and Martha A. (Schaub) Hunter; husband Robert F. Heller; one sister Violet Garner. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her two daughters Marlene and husband Donald Orf of Wentzville, Missouri, Martha A. "Marcie" and husband Ronald Gerhardt of Dittmer, Missouri; one sister Eleanor Greer of Cuba, Missouri; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri and also on Friday, December 28, 2012 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church 642 E. Pine St. Bourbon, Missouri. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 10:00 a.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church in Bourbon, Missouri with Pastor David Burge, officiating. Interment will follow at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. If desired, memorials would be appreciated to KFUO Radio or Concordia Lutheran Church. The Mizell Funeral Home is Honored to be serving the Heller family.
